This was a local author's take on the tragedy of missing indigenous women. The main character is the district attorney assigned to help a Mom of a missing girl find her daughter. I liked the character and the way she researched the case and interacted with the different jurisdictions involved. The author had a legal background and met with my book club to discuss creating the story. It was a good discussion.
