Sub-title: Proof of the Professional
Sometimes, you read something to expand your knowledge of a teeny slice of a subject and add to your understanding of a niche topic. I ordered this book off of Amazon to see the full picture of what educational opportunities exist for those of us interested in genealogy to have "credentials" to prove our knowledge and experience. This is a fantastic summary of the different programs and organizations. It provides a history of their development and where they are today. There's a list of the acronyms representing the various offerings, a good reference for any genealogist. I recommend it for your genealogy reference shelf.
